What is the name of your state?

I sold an item on ebay. I asked for canada and us residents, but some guy in Italy piped in and won it. OK fine I guess, would rather not, but, anyway I would like to sell this. The thing is, he's asking for my bank location and account#. He did NOT ask me for my routing# though.

Is this safe?? I know with my routing # he can buy stuff online. He wants to do a wire xfer to my bank.

I've also heard of scams where guys in other countries do this and after it's mailed they do a charge back, but you can't do that for a wire xfer right?? Thanks

Squash the deal and don't tell him any of your banking information! You listed specific instructions in your auction which the buyer either did not read or assumed you would go with it anyway.

You are more then welcomed to proceed with the transaction but anything here on out that happens is your own fault.

**A: If you want to give out bank info, I know a high ranking attorney in Nigeria that you could correspond with.

I can do you one better, I have the inside track to a prince from Nigeria, who is ONLY waiting for his family to reunited with their lost funds so that they may reclaim their throne(s).....

**A: tell them not to worry about it. We in the US can donate a few porta potties. We can have some homies spraypaint the words "Your Royal Throne" on the front.

And to answer one of your questions....

Int'l wire transfers cannot be taken back once they send you the money. It's as good as cash.

Wellllllll, you could open a separate account with no money in it just to receive his transfer. Wait until the funds are fully secured and then ship. Then, close the account. I don't know how much extra info he could get from having those "one time" account numbers.

How much are we talking about? Did you contact your #2 bidder to see if he was still interested?

How come y'all answered this guys questions when he didn't tell us the state?

(He's from Canada....)

I just got word from him that he sent it via western union, so I guess I'm ok. He gave me a code and said I could just present that # and my ID and they' had the $ waiting for me. Thanks
