I have been living with a man who has been separated (for the purpose of divorce) from his wife since last October. They both have been talking to attorneys in NC but they did not sign any papers. He moved here from NC. Is he OK to get on with his life( date and live with someone) or do they both have to sign separation papers before its legal for him to do so.
