am i married?

my wife and i live in alabama. 8 months ago we were married on vacation in tennesse. she lied about her name on the marraige papers (saying her name from previous hubby was her maiden name). alot has happened, she has tried to make me sign a will, taken out life ins. policys, ect. i believe she never even divorced the other man.
are we really married?
can she take 1/2 of my money & property?
(she never contributed $ to the marriage, everything is in my name)
what should my first step be to get a divorce?

A lot will determine what exactly this is. Basically, you need to hire a divorce attorney (or at least speak to one) to see if he/she can find out the following:

1. IF she was ever divorced.
2. WHat her real name is. If using her fake name either causes the marriage to be void/voidable.
