Am I on or off the hook for lot rent?

Ok, here's what's up. I moved from a mobile home park after 5 years. I did everything right. Not a single late payment, plenty of notice, and owned my mobile home. I gave notice I was selling my home. Well, I had a contract (notarized agreement) with a lady to buy it over 3 months in installments. The landlord had already approved her as a tenant (ran her credit) and just needed to meet with her to sign a lease. Well, the lady is now giving us both a run around and not meeting with him to sign and not paying me. She already moved in! The landlord is calling me and asking me to do something about the payment. Am I legally responsible for the lot rent since the lady and I have a notarized agreement for her to purchase my home? Or should he be going after her? Problem is they never actually signed a lease since she's been out and about everywhere but she has been living there the last week and a half and has even turned the utilities on!

She moved in violating park rules. The landlord can chose to let you work it out temporarily or file to have you, your trailer and the tenant removed from their property. I would pay the lot rent current, then work it out or start eviction from your trailer. If you try to make the park manager deal with it, he will likely make you move your trailer out. This will usually ruin your trailer. You could opt to give the park the trailer or give it to the lady, if the value is low. In the former, the park will deal with her. In the latter, they will still deal with her, just differently. You still have, at the very least, month to month tenancy, until a new lease is signed.

well, my first year there I had a one year lease. I was never offered another lease. Therefore it automatically goes into a month to month lease. So, I'm not sure I am since I gave more than my 30 days notice and my intent to sell. I do have copies of the letters I sent to him via certified mail as well.

Even with a notarized agreement that is legally binding for her to buy it? Doesn't that make her the "owner" whether or not she has physical custody of the title to the home?:(
