A little background on me. I am the stepmother of two very beautiful wonderful girls, and married to there father (sorry I guess that was obvious) well needless to say there mother hates me. I did not become part of my husband’s life until after they were already divorced, and everything was finished with.
Well, because there mom hates me so much, even though she too is married and has another kid, she tries everything thing in her power to make my life miserable. The most recent thing she did was write up a motion to the court stating the following.
"I am requesting that the court orders the respondents wife (my name here), not be allowed to discuss decision making responsibility with me, the petitioner, nor the respondent (husbands name here) when we meet in person or on the phone. I also request that respondent’s wife not be allowed to attend school conferences, activities, or pick up the children from school.
My reasons are:
Respondent’s wife is very controlling and will not allow him to even discuss anything about the children with me, she discusses everything with me, and he says nothing. This makes everything very heated between her and I, It is not good for the children to be around these arguments. There is no reason she needs to discuss anything about mine and respondents children with me at all. There is no reason that she will have to pick up the children from school."
Okay now... I am not controlling, never do I EVER discuss ANYTHING with her. This entire motion was BS. My question being, will the court believe her over me, and am I at all part of this case, can the Judge order me to do anything even though my name is not part of this at all??

The Respondent would like the court to know that the Petitioner threatened the Respondents wife when the Respondent and the Petitioner were meeting to discuss future Parenting time, not the other way around, and now after that happened, the petitioner wants to hurt the respondents wife by not allowing her to attend any functions. This will not only hurt the Respondents wife, it will hurt the Respondent, and the children.
The Petitioner was upset that the Respondent brought his wife to the meeting, even though she the Petitioner had brought her husband. The reason that the Respondent had brought his wife goes back to Christmas, when the Petitioners Husband assaulted the Respondent. The Respondent wanted to have someone with him that would make sure that the correct people were called, if the Petitioners husband attacked the Respondent again.
The Petitioner started swearing and throwing things at the Respondents wife (when the Respondent had asked her opinion on something), and the Petitioner said she wanted to beat up the respondents wife, in front of the children. The Respondents wife gathered up her things and with the Respondent and the children left the establishment before the Petitioner could inflict any harm to the Respondents Wife as the Petitioner had stated she was going to.
