I recently placed an order on Amazon.com for a computer costing $1099. I received an email from Amazon.com a few days later stating that the computer was "no longer available" from the supplier, so they cancelled my order and referred me to a "substitute" item, which, when I looked at it, was the exact same item I had purchased with a different product number (all specs were the same). The difference? This one cost $1299. So, they want me to purchase the same thing for an extra $200. Can I sue them for falsely advertising a price?
Many thanks.
