Amended Filing Change Waiting period?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I filed a petition that was served on 6/28/11. After she recieved it and we agreed to some changes. I filed an amendment and that was served on 7/29/11. I keep getting conflicting information on when the 6 month waiting period will end. Is it from her first being served or the amended petition?

Filed for a Divorce in CA. As opposed to her filing a response I just amended it and refiled.
