What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? (Tennessee)

I had a police officer tell her Lt. that I struck a handcuffed subject being detained. This police Lt. told my director who has to conduct an investigation. I am subject to being fired if it is a founded accusation. I have five officers who can testify that I did not strike this subject. The subject told my director I never touched him.

The officer apparently did this in a malicious manner because she did not agree with my assessment of the situation. I spoke to the Inspector over the officer and she related she placed the same information in her memo concerning the incident and they have no plans to discipline her. I have not gone to IA yet.

Shortly after this incident I had a nervous breakdown. I am now disabled and unable to work. I know this was a contributing factor to my condition.
