What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

If you have an self-contributing annuity through an employer's own pension plan, can they stop you if you leave the job from continuing to contribute to it? In this case, the employer has its own insurance company as a part of its operations. Thank you.

Can they? Of course.

Will they? Almost certainly. I've never heard an employer allowing an ex-employee to continue contributing to a plan.
