I am trying to find out the Annulment laws for the state of North Carolina, My cousin was married here seven months ago and is currently living in Hawaii attending college. He is having a lot of marriage problems, and would like to get a annulment or a divorce, would he file in Hawaii or North Carolina? What are the grounds for Annulment and is there a time limit on how long you can be married and still file for annulment.

You can not get an anullment just because things are not working out or it has been a short time. He would file for divorce in the state he is in once he has passed the residency requirements. For Hawaii it is 6 months.
