What is the name of your state? Michigan

I was married Oct. 2003 to a gentleman I knew for about 1.5 years. Upon getting married, his personality changed dramatically ...
About 10 months later I had a baby girl and by the summer of 2005, he began lying about everything ... finances, personal things
In Nov. 2005, I found out that he was married to a woman overseas from Lebanon, his native country. That divorce was not final until Feb. 2004.
Isn't my marriage voidable? We are separated and he's really placed me in a bad situation financially, so a good attorney is like asking for the moon!
I'm hoping that an annulment is doable and not very costly.

Thank you

Q: Isn't my marriage voidable?

A: Probably. But it would be difficult and expensive to prove. The cheapest and easiest route is to get a divorce.

I have a copy of his divorce papers provided by the D.C. Embassy; would the date be considered proof?

Divorce is easier, although you could turn him into the DA for the crime of bigamy, but then you would have trouble collecting child support.
