My response:

Vermont Family Code
§ 512. Voidable marriages-Grounds for annulment generally.

"The marriage contract may be annulled when, at the time of marriage, either party had not attained the age of sixteen years or was an idiot or lunatic or physically incapable of entering into the marriage state or when the consent of either party was obtained by force or fraud."

So, basically what this means is that Vanessa and M. Eastwood are entitled to an annulment.

Good luck to you.

Once nailed, M. Eastwood's post bit the dust, just as Vanessa's had. As she said, there's no point in them remaining on the board once a question has been answered.

Ran into another interesting fellow on the custody board, responded, post disappeared. He wrote another leaving out the parts that were unflattering to him. His response as to why first post was deleted was "I did not delete my post. My wife probably did." Mind you, he's in VA and wifey is in FL. Go figure.
