My boyfriend would like an annulment. He was married in Kentucky and divorced in Indiana. His 2 year old daughter and ex-wife live in Indiana, he lives in Michigan. Which state's annulment laws would be used for an annulment and what are that state's annulment laws?

I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

My response:

Assuming he could have qualified for an annulment, he can't get an annulment in any State now. That's because he's already received a divorce decree; i.e., since there is no longer a marriage, there's nothing left for a court to annul.
