What is the name of your state?Tennessee
The buyer withdrew his paypal payment, saying he has not received the item. He did not purchase insurance and I did not request delivery confermation(BIG MISTAKE). he has not tried to contact me in any way. I have the receipt from when I shipped the item. How is he allowed to just withdraw a payment without at least trying to ask me about it? What if this guy really has received the item but saw that there was no delivery confirmation required, and is trying to get the item and the money? I realize now that I should not expect other people to be honest, but there has to be something I can do. Please help!

Although he has filed a claim doesn't mean he has received his money back. Paypal still has to do an investigation. Look at your claim and submit all the information you can. The post office gives you a reciept that should state the zip code at least so you can maybe even fax Paypal a copy. I think you need to also file a non-paying bidder alert. I would remind him that he didn't purchase any insurance and that he either needs to cancel the claim or submit payment in full by means of a MO. You can even send him an invoice you make up thru Paypal to let him know you are serious.

PROVE he got the item!

So how do you go to court and say yes you did and the buyer says no I didn't?

What if he did NOT receive the item?

OP stated buyer DIDN'T purchase insurance so why should the OP be held responsible all because the buyer was to cheap to pay the extra to insure he would recieve his package.
