i served 4 yrs in the armed forces and became sick overseas and almost died. have spent past year in and out of hospitals. was unable to walk.are there any similarities between being gravely injured in a civilian line of work as opposed to the military? i am not discharged yet- i would like to be compensated for what i have been through/am going through, but i feel that they will not even give me a high enough diablility rating so i can live the life that i would have lived, had i not gotten sick. yes, there is alot of stuff going around about the anthrax vaccine making people sick and i am scared. they may try to push me off and tell me ill be allright. but it really sucks to have been a beautiful 21 yr old woman and then turn into something weird because of steroids and chemo, plus having your young husband have to catheterize you in the middle of the night. it just isnt fair and is taking a toll on my state of mind as well.no question-what i got is bad. but can i really do anything about it?

It sounds as if you need a specialist in getting Army disability ratings to help fight for your rights so that you'll get the highest possible disability rating.
