My husgand was in an auto accident. He wrecked the front of his van causing all of the antifreeze to leak from his van.
Thankfully, no one but he was injured. But, when he got out of his van he was disoriented and sat down right next to the antifreeze spill and inhaled the fumes for an estimated 5 minutes before the police arrived. He had had 3 beers within the two hours prior to the accident and within one half hour of the accident he was tested at .12. Now we are trying to determine if there is anyway the fumes from the antifreeze could have made the difference between a reading of possibly
.06 or .07 (which is what we estimate the 3 beers would have done) and the .12 reading at the jail.

Is this wishful thinking, or do you know of any toxicology reports to substantiate this??

I have found through the internet that antifreeze is sometimes abused as an inhalent to create a "high" but is this high readable on a breathalyzer??
