I've been married for just over a month. About a week after we married my husband started getting controlling over me. For Example: He told my family and friends that if they want to see me then they have to get permission through him first. He has completely changed since we got married. I've been reading information online and this doesnt sound like grounds for an anullment. Is this grounds for an anullment? How do California laws help me? I really need to get out of this fast before any other things change in his personality.

My response:

Unfortunately, being "controlling" is not grounds for annulment. If divorce is what you are seeking, see a Family Law attorney as soon as possible. Most will give you a free initial consultation.
