VA. My son is 18 yrs. old and has gotten married. He got married to a 16 yr. old in Sept. 2000. Can he get an anulment? There are no children involved. Any information would be helpful.

My response:

Unless she was pregnant, or if she didn't have one of her parents signed the Application for marriage, then no. If either or both are true, then your son can file for an annulment.

But, since you didn't mention either was the case at the time of marriage, your son must file a Petition for a standard divorce.
