What is the name of your state? IN

Our 16 year old pregnant granddaughter recently moved in with us. Her mother and father have joint custody with the mother having physical custody. Father is ordered to pay child support but has not. (Father is my husband's son, mother and father were never married.)
Both parents are fine to have the 16 year old live with us as they both have 3 (father) and 4 (mother) other children living with them. She does spend weekends with one or the other.
Big question is what legal problems, if any do we have by having this arrangement? The father was ordered to pay child support but they are not forcing him to do so. We would like for him to do so, not for our sake, but for the daughter's. She needs items and supplies that we can not afford to purchase (retired, fixed income) and to save for the baby she is expecting.

1) what legal problems, if any do we have in this living arrangement?

2) how can we force the son to pay the child support with him getting mad at us?

Thanks.

#1 ) No legal problems as long as the " Parents " are giving their permission for the child to stay their during the week .

#2 ) You can't force child support payments to be paid to you . You have NO legal standing . It's your choice if you want/allow the Child to stay during the weekdays , you are not obligated to .

Sounds to me like you are being taken for a ride . ASK BOTH parents to contribute something to help out , without being rude . Explain your financial situation .
