I am being taken to court for somthing that is totally untrue. Someone is claiming I failed to make payments on somthing and I have all the documents that I have made all the payments (because I have), this person has no case. Is there anyway I can just tell someone this, show them the proof and have this thing dropped, without going to court?? I have to go to a upcoming doccit (sp). Also can I get my money back for loss of pay and traveling costs for having to drive a long way to defend this stupid thing? Will this person get fined or anything for filing a false lawsuit and making untruthfull statements???
