What is the name of your state? Indiana
My finance lost his job back in June and was granted unemployment benefits.
His company appealed that decision and "changed their minds" and said he quit veruses the statement they gave previously that he was "involuntarily let go."
We're still awaiting the ALJ's decision, which we should be getting any time now. However, my question is this... a friend of ours, an attorney, said that since the employer filed for the appeal and (more than likely) lost - they may have to pay him for the lost wages for the two months it took him to find a new job. Is that true?
