What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? VA

Suppose the custodial parent loses custody to the other parent and appeals the judges decision, who will pay the larger price for pushing the paper work. I do realize that I will have to pay my attorney the regular hourly price for his work, but who ultimately pays the larger price when a case is appealed. I was just wondering if she will get off easy financially just because she has a court appointed attorney.

Although I do indeed agree with you; however, that was not the answer I was looking for. The whole reason for the fight regarding custody of my son is to get him out of the dangerous enviroment he is living in. My previous posts make that clear enough. I was trying to get some answers about the possibility of an appeal on her part. I respect your sarcasm, but perhaps you could be more helpful if possible.

As you stated , she has a Court appointed attorney . That must mean a Freebie . Meanwhile you pay the cost to your attorney .

What will happen on appeal ? It depends on if there were any errors in the Laws .

The only way an appeal will be heard is if there is an error in the way the law was applied. I wouldn't sweat it a whole lot.
