I live in muncie,Indiana. what is the procedures for a application for a public defender. I am on medical leave and my wife is on workmans comp. I recieve $91.00 a week when the insurance company pays on time. My wife recieves $120.00 a week. my bills are higher than my income that is why i applied for a public defender. my application was refused based on that I make enough money to retain a private lawyer.
