In sept 2004 i signed a lease with my ex girlfriend. I'm still in the apartment by my self. I have seen a a lawyer and she going to file my intent given paperwork she requested from me. One thing that she did say is that since my income is 60k the trustee will ask for lots more paperwork. Will the lease with my exGFs name on there matter? Should I contact my landlord and ask for a lease with my name only?

No, it won't matter that the ex GF's name is on the lease, as long as YOUR name IS on it. If asked you just tell the Trustee that she moved out and when.
