My daughter & I moved to Texas and my husband has filed for the divorce in Arkansas. He knows that I can not afford an Attorney and has retained one for "both" of us. They have already sent me papers to sign, in which I do not agree with terms and he does not want to change them. (1) Will the divorce be finalized without my signature?
He also put in a child support amt. from 1994 separation order and I know that his income in considerably higher. (2) Can I make my own Discovery for Income to his Attorney? if so then how? (3) My name is on the house mortgage and he does not want to split house because he said that there is not equity but he is already moving another female into "our home", should I contest this? how?
I am at a lost on what to do if someone could help me!!
Thank You

You ex is trying to screw you big time.. the attorney he retained is for him, not you.. and his job is to screw you too. Beg, borrow, max out your credit cards.. but you need to retain an attorney to act for you.. or guess what, you are going to get screwed.
