Pennsylvania,

When our lawsuit went through arbitration, the plaintiff was awarded some amount of money. However he was not satisfied and is now trying to appeal, or vacate the arbitrators' award, and take the case to trial.
Is there a way to object, and make the arbitrators' award final? Or is the arbitrators' ruling automatically dismissed if one of the parties is not satisfied with the outcome?

These was no indication from the court whether arbitration was binding or not - so I assume non-binding.
