Our lease said no pets the landlord said ok to the dog after he found out about it but I also have 4 cages of birds. Can he keep my deposit?

My response:

You asked, "Are birds pets?" Well, unless you consider them "groceries on the hoof", then yes, they are pets. Of course, in some Korean families, dogs . . . . I'm getting off the issue.

What does your lease say with regard to pets?
