This is the situation.... My husband is a security guard for apartment complexes. He works for a company that is hired by the apartment managers... Recently, his managers removed him from his assigned property and placed him on a properly in the ghetto. This property is very infamous; it's a dangerous place where security guards have been known to get shot. In fact, only armed security guards were allowed at this property and two had to always be on scene. They are sending my husband to this properly, alone, and he is unarmed.

We are certain that they are doing this because they want him to quit. You see, the vice president of the company hates my husband. The previous apartments that my husband was stationed at was a place where the vice president used to live. He was constantly harassing my husband because his reports "weren't good enough". Basically, the man was biased towards this property and treated my husband unfairly for it. He had unrealistic expectations... About a month ago, my husband reported the vice president's behavior to the president of the company. Of course, that only fueled the fire when the vice president found out...

Anyway, my husband told them that he does not want to go to this property because he fears for his life; however, their response to him was something along the lines of "you're a security guard. This is your job." He requested any other property, but they keep insisting that there is nothing else available. He knows this is a lie because there are other properties that are understaffed. In fact, there are plenty of properties near where we live that they won't send him to. They instead send other guards who live far away and want to give the property to my husband...

Obviously, my husband does want to quit; however, if he does, we will have no income until he finds another job. That could be months! Is there anything we can do? Or is his only option to quit or put up with the crap?

Thanks in advance ♥

Your husband has no right to dictate whether he wants to work at a property or not. Your husband can either work where his company places him or quit. You could always get a job to contribute to your own support. You aren't putting up with anything.
