What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
Is there an exception to the law with some registered sex offenders? It is my understanding that NO registered sex offender is permitted to be within 300 feet of a school, park or anywhere children gather.
I personally know of a registered sex offender who has been on elementary school grounds more than a few times. He has children that go to the school. When someone questioned the principal about this, he said that he was an exception to the rule because he had children at the school. Am I missing something? Lots of sex offenders have children. Does that mean they are not a risk?
Doesn't the law pertain to all registered sex offenders? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
