Are there any legal issues in installing CCTV's outside the home?

I am planning to set up CCTV security camera systems outside my house. All the footage would be of my own property. They will have access to the main entrance and the backyard. All cameras would be pointed towards my house and it would not be visible from the street.
I was wondering if there are any legal issues to worry about. I live near an elementary school. Please advise!

Probably not. As long as you aren't recording sound.
