This is an issue very unfamiliar to me so I am seeking the advice of someone who could better recognize any legal formalities.
I'm wanting to know if there would be any reason that a young man age 17 should not donate his seman for use in artificial insemination if his parents have given their consent to do so? If there is any legalities in this situation...please let me know what they are. Thank you in advance

i am not a lawyer, but the legal aspect of this proposal should not be the question. a 17 year kid is just that, a kid, and he definitely shouldn't be donating his sperm to anyone. he doesn't have the maturity=life experiences to make a decision like this because youth rarely can see the far reaching consequences of their actions.
this is probably not a decision that the 17 year old would make when he is older and realizes how precious a baby=his baby is. what kind of parents would give their permission for this?!!
