Arizona: I'm trying to help my son. Without being to lengthy, he is the father of a 9 year old girl who lives with her mother in Arizona. My son lives in California. He has never been married to the mother and wants to have legal visitation rights. He does pay child support.

He filed for visitation rights a couple of days ago (in Arizona) at the court with the assistance of the court clerk. He wants to make sure that he has done the right thing by filing. He's afraid that the mother may take off and disappear, as she's done before, when she is served with the petition for visitation.

Question 1: Is she legally required to notify anyone of her whereabouts after she has been served with the papers?

Question 2: Is there any free legal assistance available in the Casa Grande, Arizona area for family law?

Thank you for any help or advice.
