I was arrested for a DUI in 2008 in IL and was just sentenced in 2010. The penalties for a DUI in IL drastically changed January 1, 2009, and my question is in regards to my drivers license. Will the penalties for my d/l be enforced as of my conviction date or arrest date?

Those types of determinations are usually based on date of offense, NOT date of conviction.
