I was served a search warrant for methadone and police found a pot pipe not in my room,it was a multiresidence and I do not smoke anything.I have never seen methadone before. I did have empty capsules and scales used for dextromethorphan (a legal drug found in robotussin). I was charged with a Class C felony Paraphenalia charge. But the only thing illegal in the house was the pot pipe, No controlled substances. Can I be charged for the scales and capsules without any cont. substance? And what are the charges for a pot pipe anyway I thought it was Instrument of crime, mis.
Thanks for any help.
