Does anyone know of any articles or websites that state the laws on when CS increase would be in order?

The ex wife has nothing better to do then to call my bf and insist that more child support will be warranted to her after my bfs taxes are filed every year. I know i previously posted the question if this is true or not. My bf and I are looking for legal proof that the ex is blowing smoke. We are sick of her harrassing calls.

Is he making alot more money now then he was when the support was originally ordered?

check the illinois statutes that dictate CS.

No he's not! Thats the thing. His income is the same. I mean it might have went up a few thousand, but not more then 5 or 10. Its just getting out of control.

Don't answer when she calls. Let her leave a message. Invest in an answering machine with an actual tape so that he can use the tape as evidence of her harassment. There's no way to get the calls stopped all together, but she has no reason to call unless it is about the child (which would not include child support).

Yes, we do let her leave messages and we record them all. I have a ton of tapes! They are somewhat entertaining at times. You are totally right. We just get so irritated! I was hoping we could find something online to shut her up, but it probably wouldn't work anyways. Thanks for your time.

How is his income the same if it has gone up by 5-10,000??

I believe it went up from the amount they used to agree on child support. Last year it went up a few thousand. So thats what i meant. His taxes were given to the ex last year with a little increase, but obviously nothing was changed. Sorry for the confusion. I have been looking online, and the only thing i can find is that CS cannot be changed unless their are SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES. But it doesn't say what those special circumstances are. Wouldn't the ex's income come into play as well if they went to court?
