If a seller has had a home inspection report done on their property and knows there are major potential fatal repairs needed on the home and does not disclose these things on the sellers disclosure but does advertise this home "as is" and a buyer finds out that the seller knew about the dangers in the house but did not disclose who is responsible to pay when the contract falls apart? This is what happend to me in NJ. I was the buyer. the sellers lawyer told me after i had already secured a mortgage and had inspection and notified my landlord of my intended departure. now i am out $2000.00 and i have to find a new place to live.
