i'm asking for a frien'd whose doughter's father has stopped paying child support. she thinks he might be in jail.. what happens in this case? she just wont get support unitl he gets out? or can she get a cut of whatever stipend he gets in there?

the state would be where the child support order was issued, NOT where the father is located.
