What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Hawaii, Hi my Sister in Law went to a dance club on 6/15/2013 with some friends. While she was sitting having her first drink. someone came from behind her and pushed or hit her so hard that she hit her face on the floor. All she remembers is she was being in the ambulance going to the Hospital. She lost her front teeth and had to have stitches in and out on her bottom lip. she just started working full-time and has no health insurance of any kind and she has no money to pick up any of her meds the doctor prescribed. No one seems to have seen who attacked her. Can she get a lawyer and deal with the dance club she was at ? There was a police report filed.

The dance club did not attack your sister. There is no reason to sue them.

Please cite the law that requires dance clubs to have cameras and bouncers that attend to people.

Is it the law in her state that bouncers must "attend to" clubgoers? If so, and she remembers nothing, how does she know and prove the bouncers did not "attend to" her?

Is there another law that requires cameras in the club?

Does HI require bouncers be medically trained and be emergency responders? I can see the club bearing some liability if someone tripped over the victim when they were left on the ground, however, that would be someone elses lawsuit.

I thank you for your reply. all she knows is that her friends were on the dance floor and she was the only one sitting on a chair. it was early and she just received her first drink. when everything happen so fast to her. The thing is that no one is coming forward about witnessing what happen or what they saw. So, she was not plastered. I have only been told by hear say that the club owners are suppose to have cameras. I am not sure if it's the law in Hawaii for Club owners to have cameras. I just thought there would be some kind of security (bouncers) just to make sure that there would be some kind of safety measure of some kind in Clubs.
