Assault on a minor

What is the name of your state? KS

If a minor attempts to push an adult in the face and the adult pushes the minors hand out of the adults face, is this or could this be considered 'assault on a minor'? Anyone know where I could find these statutes in KS?

Kansas statute 21-3408. Assault is intentionally placing another person in a reasonable apprehension of immediate bodily harm. Assault in a Class C misdemeanor.

The minor could be charged with assault. The adult's move was defensive.
