What is the name of your state? Oklahoma
I purchased a grandfather clock on the website,
http://www.astorclub.com on july 15th, 2007. Their website is very deceiving on the amount of time it takes to received items. After purchasing, I waited and received no emails on expected date of delivery. After sending them an email, I received a computerized response that wasn't even to me. I called and they said it was taking longer than expected. I waited and waited, wrote emails, called. I asked for my money back several times and they stopped responding to my emails. Wrote the BBB, wrote the internect fraud website, etc. I finally received the clock this week, almost 7 wks later, in broken condition. Guess they thought sending a broken clock was better than nothing. I called them and they said that ups would pick it up. Three days later and broken clock is still here. They won't give me my money and they wouldn't get ups to pick up the clock.
THeir website states they have a 25% restocking fee. If I ever get my money back, they should give me my money back plus more for the daily/nightly stress this has been.
Any help would be appeciated.

reply?

What kind of statement is that?
You must work for Astorclub.
Only someone from that company would have made a statement like that on a legal help website.
Tell your bosses at Astorclub to get help for treating customers so badly.
Have you checked out your company website at BBB?
I think you need help, astorclub.

Never heard of them.
Oh, and what was your legal question?

Astor club

I had a major problem with astor club. They did the same thing to me. I ordered a bar and they kept putting me off and then told me it was out of stock. After 6 months of arguing (they even were name calling - unbelievable), i notified my credit card company. The end result was i got my deposit back and cleared my credit card. They are very nasty people to deal with. I don't know how they are still in business. My advice would be to notify your credit card company.
