I am debating about sueing AT&T Wireless. I bought a service from them where Canada was supposed to be included (3 different agents concurred with this). I now have found out that I could have bought an additional plan to cover these charges about which no rep told me. I then get a huge bill because of roaming charges (to Canada). So I cancelled my service and was told that was the last bill. I then left the country for 6 months to study abroad and I come back to yet another HUGE bill for my real "last" month's charges and more roaming charges. I have spent about $600 more than i planned at this point. Now I am in the debt collector's office (because I had left the country thinking all of my bills were PAID) and submitted a refute that has gotten rejected. I am thinking about sueing, but unfortunately it is my word against their customer service agents (whose names I do not know) and my only evidence is a vague contract that I was sent. Is it worth the time to sue? Or should I just pay the debt? Thanks for any advice.

PS I used to work from AT&T Wireless and I KNOW how misinformed the reps are...

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

Sounds like something you need a lawyer for: deceptive billing practices
