I live in Ohio. I was fired for not staying over for maditory overtime but told them to use 4 hours of vacation, I was on final letter for points. But the thing is I came back after I was allowed to but had to come back with way less pay and as a temporary. Now they are not firing anyone else for having to many points. I had 5 points and there are people with at least 10 points. Is there anything I can do?

Yes. Pick up your attendance.

Employers are not required to treat all employees the same, and there can be valid, legal reasons why they might allow some employees to go over the same number of points. In fact, I can think of reasons why it would be illegal for them not to. Unless you have a valid and supportable reason (and the burden of proof is on you) to show that but for your race, religion, national origin etc. you would not have been fired, the only thing you can do is remember that mandatory overtime is legal in all 50 states and that you're already on thin ice. They didn't have to hire you back at all.
