attorney fees are past due what can she do

I owe my atty was due August 20th for child support legal fees, i still owe her and she's calling, what do i do??
I dont have all the $750, i have $150 and can pay her weekly until paid off, i sent her 3 post dated checks 2 weeks ago, but put a stop payment on them & called her immediately to tell her, because my check book, purse, everything was stolen, so now I am behind in other bills until I get this checkin act in order again with the bank.

Your best bet is to put your offer in writing and be honest with her. If you don't avoid her and can pay something, she may be more willing to work with you. Do you have a police report for the stolen purse ??
