What is the name of your state? Fla

I was charged with DWI SBI, my attorney mentioned in court last week that my passenegr/victim may be charged and become a co-defendent. What the hell would "they " be planning on charging him with? Thanks

-Confused? So am I.

-What's SBI?

You kind of need to explain the circumstances to get better advice.

Can't think of anything they could charge your victim / passenger with. Only thing I can figure is perhaps he has not stepped forward as a witness for the prosecution, so they may be trying to force him to come and not be a hostile witness. If he is threatened with a charge, he might cave and help them prosecute you. Just guessing here.
