I received a ticket for driving with
suspended license in August. The court
date was scheduled for mid-September,
but I had moved to another state to
work. My attorney said she would get a
continuance so that I could go back at a
later date, and not jeopardize my job. I
recently found out that she never went
to that court date and I now have a
warrant for failure to appear. Numerous
calls to my attorney have not been
returned. What should I do? Besides
wanting to straighten this all out, is
this grounds for a grievance to be filed
against the lawyer?
