Well, you can scratch WI off that list. Title companies do many of the closings, and many banks and thrifts still close their own mortgages in-house. Even with commercial closings, using an attorney is optional (or sometimes required by the LENDER).

New york - convention is almost always an attorney.
New Jersey - North jersey, almost always an attorney, south jersey, about 50% of the tome just a title co (deemed not the unauthorized practice of law)

I believe the title companies have a chart showing this.
