If you pay your rent for a year, and are not being evicted, does your landlord have the right to come in 3 or 4 days before completion of the lease and start to paint. There were still belongings in the apartment, and it was obvious the apartment had not been abandoned. Landlord tells tenant the same day painters are coming, tenant says no their stuff is still inside. Landlord keeps bugging tenant, tenant says fine but tenant opens the door for painters and comes back afterward to make sure nothing was missing. The next day with out consent or knowledge of tenant cleaning ladys are given a key to the apartment at 8:30 am. The maintnance man sees them going through tenants belongings and says that tenant is coming back don't touch her things.Cleaning ladys turn keys back in at 4:30 pm. Landlord does not make sure belonings are intact. Cleaning lady steals $7,000.00 worth of belongings. Tenant has no renters insurance, filed a police report, and now cleaning company got a hold of her and she will return the items. THE REAL QUESTION IS Was anyone allowed in my apartment prior to the end of my lease, as well as without my consent? Who is liable if everything is not returned? And even if all is returned who can be found at FAULT for pain and suffering?

Yes, for the second time.

Landlord have the right to come in 3 or 4 days before
completion of the lease and start to paint.

They don't need your consent. All that they owe you is notice.
