What is the name of your state? MS
We put a car on auction. We had talked to the high bidder several times for several hours about the car. It was an antique car in the process of being restored. We had told him everything we knew about the car. When he received the car, he grumbled and griped about it and wanted us to return him the amount he'd paid for the car or part of it. He had in his mind that he was receiving a $20,000 car. Though we had told him time and time again that there was work still to be done on the car. We had sent him parts from another car that was not part of the auction deal and even offered to buy a new carb (because he said it was shot, though we had run the car before we shipped it to him,,,,,,go figure). Nothing seemed to satisfy him at this point. He wanted all or most of his money back. We didn't see this as an option because we had explained everything about the car. Now he's talking about getting a lawyer.
Does this person have a leg to stand on or do I also need to contact my lawyer?
