What is the name of your state?Colorado
Hello, my story is very long so please bare with me.
My daughter who is now 16 years old was having problems this summer living in our home. My husband and her were not getting along. They had a fight this summer and she wanted to go live with her father. I refused because he is an alcholic and a drug user. My sister in law offered to help out . We made a verbal agreement between her father, her step father, myself and Her "step"aunt to let her stay their until we could work things out with counseling. The guidlines were that she was to not miss school and the same rules applied their that applied at our home. Everything seemed ok the first couple of months. Then I started getting letters from the school that she was failing. Well I called and they said her father was excusing her. I was on the phone with him and he had said that she only missed 3 days that he called in for. Finally I got tired of this and told her she needed to come home. She would not go to any of the counseling sessions that my husband and I were going to already. She refused to come home saying she was 16 and could stay where she wanted. Finally I got her to sign a contract stating that if her grades hadn't improved within 6 weeks she was to return home.
She seemed as if she were trying. On the 22nd of november my brother in-law showed up at our house saying his wife, my daughter, another boy who was 16,a 19 year old and finally another minor who was 17 were missing. We filed a police report and searched everywhere. In the process of him trying to help us find his wife he was telling us she was mentally unstable. She was having sex with the 16 year old and doing drugs.
2 days later the 17 year old minor returned home and stated the rest of the group were in Texas. Of course still no help from our local law enforcement. The next to come home 2 days later was The aunt. Who swears she does not know where the kids are .She has not seen them and never took them anywhere. The 16 year old finally came home and went straight to the police and gave a statement. There is only my daughter and the 19 year old left. 1 week later after playing (F.B.I) we find our daughter in a greyhound bus station in Dallas texas. She was put in a lock down until we were able to pick her up (48 hours later). She was very scared and upset. We brought her home. When we arrived the 19 year old was home and we took the 2 of them to the police station to give statements. They told us and the detective that they were supposed to be going to Mexico for a week with the aunt to " lay on the beach" She has been doing liquid morphine, extasy, vicodine mushrooms you name it. She had lost her mind and left them on the side of the road. They were scared to call us because she had said we would take them and lock them in Jail. Well now that My Jerry Springer show is told can someone tell me what she can be charged with? She was giving these children drugs and also she has an 8 year old little girl that I am worried sick about? She is crazy. I really never new she was like this or I would have never let my daughter go with her. My husband is devistated. He is in complete shock. Thank you to anyone who can tell us anything .

Okay...I missed the logical just between:

"My daughter who is now 16 years old was having problems this summer living in our home. My husband and her were not getting along. They had a fight this summer and she wanted to go live with her father. I refused because he is an alcholic and a drug user."

and this:

"My sister in law offered to help out . I was on the phone with him and he had said that she only missed 3 days that he called in for."

Did you let the kid go to her dad's house?

Thanks anyway . Thats not what I was wanting? I was asking what charges could my sister in law be charged with? Since she was giving drugs to minors and took 3 of them across state line without permission from any of the parents.
