Authorized agent

Rule 747a of the Texas Rules of court in Civil Procedure.

Grandmother (85 years old) evicting tenant....lost in JP....the Appeal has been perfected.
Now rule 747a states that an authorized agent may represent ..... So do I need some document for the court to state that i'm her authorized agent for this?

I'm not familiar with TX laws or procdures but based on what you've quoted I would think that you would need a power of attorney from your grandmother to you which states that you are authorized to be her agent in this limited matter before the court. There's a sample power of attorney form on this website or check your local stationery shop.
